Password Strength
  In order to keep your personal information secure, it is important to choose a strong password. The strength of a password depends on the different types of characters that you use, the overall length of the password, and whether the password can be found in a dictionary.

  Important Facts About Account Passwords
  • A strong password typically:

       o Contains at least 8 characters

       o Contains BOTH lower case letters and upper case letters

       o Contains at least one number

       o Contains at least one special character [“!”,”?”, “#”, etc.]
  • Never write your password down on a piece of paper and tape it to your monitor, under your keyboard or any area where it can be found by another user.
  • Do not use the same password for multiple websites

  • Passwords less than 6 characters
  • Any Family Member Names
  • Any Pet Names

  • Password123
  • 11111111
  • abc123
  • qwerty
